Extra! Extra!

We are extremely pleased to announce that Commonweal has been awarded a two-year grant from the Henry Luce Foundation to help the magazine provide better coverage of theological issues. Part of the grant will be used to print extra copies of the magazine and distribute them to universities, colleges, divinity schools, seminaries, and summer-study programs. Thanks to the Luce grant, our June 3 issue will feature an in-depth analysis of Pope Benedict XVI's theology by Rev. Joseph A. Komonchak of the Catholic University of America. Komonchak, as our readers know, is widely recognized for his scholarly work on the Second Vatican Council.
