* Established in 1996, Morry's Camp, a nonprofit children's organization, provides year-round support programs and an educationally-based residential camp experience for economically disadvantaged children. Campers, ranging in age from nine to sixteen, are chosen from agencies, schools, and community-based organizations within the New York metropolitan Tri-State area. They participate at no cost to their families.
* Campers participate in a wide variety of land sports, waterfront activities, performing and fine arts and outdoor education and adventure program activities, offering challenging opportunities and new directions for campers to encounter.

Deb Bialeschki is a professor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). Karla Henderson is the chair of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at UNC-CH. Both Bialeschki and Henderson have been long-time members of the American champing Association (ACA), serving on the ACA National Board of Directors and on numerous committees. Mary Casey II is a graduate student at UNC-CH, completing a master's degree in recreation administration. Teresa Younger is a member of the ACA National Board and the American Camping Foundation Board She is a former executive director of Morry's Camp. Dawn Ewing is the executive director of Morry's Camp and is a member of the Board of Directors for the ACA New York Section.
