Minneapolis Institute of Arts

William M. Griswold has been named director and president of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Since 2004 he had served as acting director and chief curator of the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, and prior to that was associate director for collections. Griswold succeeds Evan Maurer, who retired in February due to health problems.
