The International Center of Photography recently presented its Infinity Awards for 2008. Among the winners are Malick Sidibe for lifetime achievement, Edward Burtynsky for art photography and Taryn Simon for her publication An American Index of the Hidden and Unfamiliar, images from which were shown at the Whitney Museum last year.
