Art in America, Feb, 2007
> Donny George, former director of the National Museum in Baghdad, has joined the faculty of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a visiting professor in the anthropology department. A vocal critic of the plundering of the museum's collections and the U.S. military's failure to protect the museum during the invasion, he was facing forcible removal from his post, or worse, and moved his family out of Iraq last summer.
