Jersey City Museum - Brief Article

Art in America,  Jan, 2002  by Stephanie Cash,  David Ebony

After a lengthy delay precipitated by the events of 9/11, the Jersey City Museum recently opened its new $6.5-million facility designed by architect Charles Gilford. The building features eight galleries, an education center, a museum shop and a 152-seat auditorium. Among the inaugural exhibitions is "Ben Shahn and the Passion of Sacco and Vanzetti," organized by curator Alejandro Anreus.

The show contains 23 works from the series that are being exhibited together for the first time since 1932.
