Contemporary Arts Center - People - Brief Article

Charles Desmarais, director of the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati for eight years, has stepped down to become curator-at-large at the museum. During his tenure he oversaw the planning and construction of the center's new Zaha Hadid-designed facility [see p. 58]. Desmarais begins a sabbatical leave in January and will assume his new role on July 1, 2004.
