Jens Hoffmann, director of exhibitions at the ICA in London, has been appointed director of the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, effective Nov. 1. He succeeds Ralph Rugoff, who recently became head of the Hayward Gallery in London.
