Americans for the Arts recently presented its newly created Public Art Network Award to Harriet Traurig, director of the San Jose Public Art Program. The Michael Newton Award, given for leadership of a united arts fund, went to Janet T. Langsam, executive director of the Westchester Arts Council in New York State.
Craig Dreeszen, a cultural planning expert in Amherst, Mass., won the Selina Roberts Ottum Award for local arts leadership.
