Feels Like Home

Sing Out! The Folk Song Magazine,  Winter, 2006

"Feels Like Home" is about refuge from the struggles of this world. Whether it be a tree house, a sense of acceptance, love or a warm bed, each one of us needs a place to which we can call home when the burden gets too much for us to bear. The song was written by Liz Carlisle, a Montana singer-songwriter transplant to the Boston folk scene. She dedicates the song to a place and group of people among whom she feels at home Fox Run House Concert Series and Studio in Sudbury, Mass. "Feels Like Home" is on Liz's new release Five Star Day from Wildground, c/o CD Freedom, Artist Development Assoc., 47 Mellen St., Framingham, MA 01702; Ph: 800-937-3397; Web: <www.lizcarlisle.com>.
