Walking in Two Worlds: Women's Spiritual Paths (St. Cloud, Minn.: North Star Press, 190 pages, $14.95 paperback), edited by Kay Vander Vort, Joan H. Timmerman and Eleanor Lincoln, is for those born into Adam's world, named from male life experience. They have grown up knowing Eve as sinner and Mary as obedient vessel.
These 21 essays, looking for womantruth, have grown out of the Theological Insight program at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. Considerations include how culture forms us, language as binding and freeing, living in transition, anger and solitude.
The book begins to articulate important truths, and highlights the considerations that will light the way into the next century.
