Erica Fischbach took her final bow with American Ballet Theatre in Austin, TX, where the company was on tour in November. "She is planning to spend more time with her 2-year-old daughter, Fiona Rose, and husband, Mark," said a spokeswoman. Fischbach's 20-year career began at Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she rose to the rank of soloist before moving to New York in 1996.
At ABT, Fishbach, a corps member, stood out in ballets like Kylian's Sechs Tanze, and Tudor's Jardin aux Lilas and Pillar of Fire.
