DEATH ON WHEELS: Dignitas, a Swiss assisted-suicide organization, is now offering its services from the back of rented vans in parking lots. The group was evicted from a Zurich apartment building after residents petitioned to get rid of it. The apartment-dwellers disliked riding up the elevator with Dignitas clients and sometimes riding back down with body bags.
Swiss authorities are concerned about the country becoming a destination for "death tourism." While active euthanasia is illegal in Switzerland, assisted suicide is not (Telegraph, November 12).
