Caption: WIESENTHAL FUNERAL: Daughter Paulinka Kreisberg mourns during the funeral near Tel Aviv of Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal, who died September 20 in Vienna at age 96. The Ukraine-born Wiesenthal was best known for hunting down Adolf Eichmann, a prominent Nazi leader in the genocide of 6 million Jews and many others in the Holocaust. Wiesenthal was eulogized as a concentration camp survivor who refused to let the horrors go unpunished or be forgotten. He was the recipient of numerous national medals, but also of death threats. Wiesenthal's efforts have been memorialized at the Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center and its Museum of Tolerance.
