The BX6000 Series binary array ink jet printers have a resolution of 128 x 256 dots per inch and a two-inch (51-millimeter) print band. A dual-head configuration operates off a single print engine, providing the ability to print four continuous inches (102mm). Separate heads allow for printing on different areas of the target piece. A computer-initiated startup sequence minimizes manual operator procedures to begin the print mode; shutdown entails a few quick mouse clicks.
