26 attend new member breakfast

South Florida CEO,  Oct, 2004

Last month's New Member Breakfast Reception was a huge success, with 26 new members receiving relevant information on the Builders Association of South Florida from president-elect Rick Horton of The Green Companies; first vice president John McQueston of Whirlpool Corporation; Membership Committee co-chairman Armando Goenaga, a consultant for WCI Communities; and Membership Committee member Noah Breakstone of Breakstone Homes.

Among the many topics discussed were:

* Membership Benefits

* What to expect from the Builders Association of South Florida (BASF)

* Upcoming BASF events

* How to network within the BASF

* Committees and Councils to join as a means of interacting with members

* How to maximize membership investment

"It was a great turn-out," says Horton. "These new members were enthusiastic about participating in the various committees and enjoying the many networking opportunities that exist through their membership."
