Should you feel guilty if you don't buy green? - Backtalk

Natural Health,  Dec, 2002

In September's Backtalk in News and Notes we asked if shoppers who say they care about the earth should feel guilty if they don't buy environmentally friendly products. Here's what you said.

Think of Your Health

I'm not going to tell anyone else they should feel guilty, but I put up the extra penny for green cleaners. I don't sacrifice quality, and my home is a healthier place.

You should feel guilty If cost is an issue, use detergents that come in concentrate. They cost $6 to $8 but last up to six months. Or use inexpensive products like white vinegar as cleaners.
