Here are seven ways to break your routine, realign your body, limber up, increase body awareness, relax, and rejuvenate your day.

take 10 Every 90 minutes or so, take a 10-minute walk to boost your mood. If you need to stay put, stretch in place or otherwise move your body.

yoga breathe Close your eyes, inhale deeply, exhale and release any tension, clearing your mind. Repeat five times.

revolve Circle your hips, knees, elbows, wrists and ankles five to 10 times clockwise, then counterclockwise.

swing and release Stand and swing your arms, together and in opposition. Tighten your body and face, then breathe and let everything go.

head out Get outside daily and connect to nature by noticing five new things each day.

hit the floor Crawl across the room three to five times. Or you can simulate floorplay by standing and marching or by doing alternate knee lifts while bringing your elbow to the opposite knee.

partner up Commit to a friend, significant other, or pet to get physical for at least 30 minutes of brisk activity each day.
