Ice-cold sores

Natural Health,  July-August, 2007  by Jill Quam

A remedy I like to use for cold sores ["Cold Sore? No More," May, page 102] is to freeze them. This prevents the sores from growing bigger and helps them go away faster. You can use ice, but frozen popsicles--placed directly on the sore for five minutes, several times a day--is more fun. It works wonderfully and is easy on the wallet, too!
