First-time reader - Letter to the Editor

I PICKED UP AN APRIL 2002 COPY OF Natural Health at the newsstand today after hearing from a friend that there was an article about artichokes ("Artichoke," News and Notes). My friend thought I might find it helpful because I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. Kudos to author Jennifer Kennedy. The article was succinctly written and very easy for a nonmedical person to understand. This was my first time reading your magazine, and I now plan to become a regular reader.
