WHEN YOU NEED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP IN dealing with a difficult friend or coworker, try using flower essences. These liquid dilutions, derived from flowers, help balance your physical, mental, and emotional energy, giving you the feeling of calm confidence you need to interact positively with all types of personalities, says Nancy Buono, national education manager for Nelson Bach USA Ltd., a flower essences manufacturer and education organization in Wilmington, Mass.

Use as many of these flower essence remedies as you need. (They're available at most natural food stores.) To use one, squeeze 2 drops on your tongue at least four times daily. If you use more than one, add 2 drops of each to 1 ounce of spring water; take 4 drops of this mixture four times daily.
