> Biblical Theology: Retrospect and Prospect. Edited by Scott J. Hafemann (InterVarsity, $25). This is a collection of essays from the Wheaton Theology Conference of 2000. Coming from an evangelical perspective, the authors share a conviction that the biblical text demands a theological response. But the essays show that a biblical theology must grapple with complex issues of the relationship of history and theology, the shape of the canon that is to be considered, how to find unity in diversity, and the relationship of the "Old Testament" to the "New Testament." This is a useful volume for those who want to get a glimpse into current evangelical approaches to the Bible in the church.
