Christine Eckeroth

Muscle & Fitness/Hers,  Sept, 2004

For the exercises that make up "The High-Voltage Circuit" (page 80), writer Christine Eckeroth turned to Reebok Master Trainer Lisa Wheeler. "Most exercises, like biceps curls or even crunches, are pretty one-dimensional," says Eckeroth. "One of the coolest things about this workout is the way Lisa was able to coordinate different movements into a single exercise." It's not surprising that the multidimensional aspect of the workout appeals to Eckeroth.

Besides working as the publications director of the American Council of Exercise and freelance writing, she's also finishing her master's degree in rhetoric and writing at San Diego State University. Eckeroth relieves stress and keeps in shape through a combination of yoga and hiking with Henry, her 4-year-old golden retriever.
