Making up for lens effects

Muscle & Fitness/Hers,  April, 2003  by Kristina Haar

> Eye glass lenses that correct nearsightedness can make your eyes appear smaller, but using eyeliner, mascara and light-colored shadows can help, says Hollywood, California's Studio Makeup Academy. Because lenses for farsighted eyes magnify, more subtle makeup looks best. Rims on all types of glasses draw attention to undereye circles, so apply concealer both underneath and at the inside corners of the eyes, where the skin tends to be darker.
