A pro show with a difference

Bodybuilding will be sublimated by the Houston Pro Show on July 4-5. "All profits from the show will be donated to the Texas Children's Hospital to fight childhood obesity," says promoter Lee Thompson. "We want to prove that bodybuilding is a healthy lifestyle and that lots can be learned from it. Maybe this show can prove to these kids that they can be a Dexter Jackson or an Adela Garcia," or any number of idols that will be present at the weekend's numerous events: IFBB men's pro bodybuilding, IFBB men's pro bodybuilding 202-pounds and under, IFBB pro figure, IFBB pro fitness, and the John Sherman NPC Bodybuilding and Women's Fitness and Figure contest.
