If you build it they will come - Hard Times - Jay Cutler gym - Brief Article

Flex,  May, 2002  by Steve Stiefel

JAY CUTLER is one enterprising and forward-thinking pro bodybuilder. It's no surprise, then, to learn that he's already planning for his retirement. "I'm 28, and I've always had it my mind that I would retire when I'm around 30 or 32." But don't expect Iron Jay to walk away from the sport right now. "I'd be a fool to quit bodybuilding at this point, when I'm having so much success, my body feels so good and I've been so healthy."

Jay's plan is to eventually build his own gym in Southern California. "I've got some investors, and I've been throwing around some ideas and looking for a location to build the gym. I need to start thinking about what to do next in my career, and I definitely want to do something in Cali."
