Two natural products, melatonin and EGCG from green tea, work synergistically to inhibit the HIV virus and restore the CD4 count in human volunteers

Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients,  June, 2006  by Stephen Martin

Grouppe Kurosawa, an organization founded in a federal prison camp and dedicated to developing treatment protocols for a host of chronic and acute diseases using only natural products, has published an effective natural medicine-based treatment protocol for the treatment of HIV infections (http://grouppekurosawa.com/blog/2006/02/increasing-immune-responsiveness-in.htm, http://grouppekurosawa.com/blog/2006/02/increasing-immuneresponsiveness-in_08.htm). The treatment protocol is free and non-patented, and it can be easily followed in the home.

The first volunteer to use the protocol, Adam, has graciously placed his treatment diary on the Grouppe Kurosawa web site (http://www.grouppekurosawa.com/hiv2print.htm). Adam may be the first person in the history of the AIDS epidemic to see his plunging CD4 count return to normal and his HIV count drop to almost undetectable levels without the use of antiviral drugs or, in fact, any medical help whatsoever. Adam's immune system has remained normal for over two years now (http://grouppekurosawa.com/blog/2006/01/from-hiv-fast-progressor-to-almost.htm). His doctors have informed him that he is now "healthy as a horse."

Dr. Stephen Martin, Chief Scientist of Grouppe Kurosawa and developer of the protocol, known as the Kurosawa KocktailT, says the secret to the efficacy of the protocol is the fact that (-)-Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is consumed in warm coconut milk.

"We knew the scientific literature on EGCG, what biochemical pathways it blocked, and how it could be useful as a treatment for HIV infections, but we couldn't figure out how to get enough of this compound into the body to be therapeutically effective. We also wanted to target the lymphatic system, the home of the HIV virus. So we heated EGCG in coconut milk, which is 50% saturated fat, and had our volunteers drink the stuff twice a day. Fat-dissolved substances enter the body via the lymphatic system, not the blood. Since most of the HIV virus is in the mucosal immune system in the intestines, we put our compounds right in the face of the largest concentration of virus. The effect was immediate and incredible. This protocol was specifically designed to remove the primary block in immune responsiveness induced by HIV viral proteins and to reactivate the immune system against the virus. We believe it succeeded."

Over 40 million people are presently living with the HIV virus with no end to the epidemic in sight. Twenty million people, including millions of children, have already died. The Kurosawa KocktailT treatment protocol works, it's free, and it uses inexpensive and non-toxic ingredients. The technical details of the protocol are discussed in the blog essays. This protocol, once perfected, could be a therapeutic tool against AIDS for the world's poor. It's amazing what can be accomplished in life when honor and duty replaces monetary greed. Now you know why the organization is called Kurosawa.
