Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, Feb-March, 2005 by Alan R. Yurko
Editor:
I write on behalf of the hundreds of doctors, organizations, parents, professionals and patients that make up the Yurko Project. We extend our great thanks to TLfDP for their courageous coverage over the years of our case. As reported on page 16 of TLfDP #257, the murder conviction against me was vacated and we won. It took seven years of intense medicolegal battle and activism.
During the weeklong court battle in August 2004, we brought out the issues that myriad experts concluded, that the real "murderer" of my son was bad medicine; hospital overdoses of drugs, contraindicated "hot-lot" vaccines, and poor medical care. Indeed the iatrogeny went further and we exposed the horror that body parts and tissues were mixed up with other cadavers in the autopsy.
As Gary Null PhD et al., have reported in TLfDP, iatrogeny is the number 1 cause of deaths in the USA. The Yurko Project will continue to take its stand in this arena. Our network of medicolegal experts and activists have vowed to keep on going. It is horrific to have a loved one killed by bad medicine. It is exponentially more nightmarish when the finger is pointed at innocent loved ones and caretakers. We intend to reach out to all who may be concerned or in need of assistance, by providing expert support, consultation, record review, reference and our experience in over 100 cases to date. No one will be turned away, and we are already in full swing.
In an age when doctors are jailed and persecuted for innovative therapies, when patients are killed by orthodox therapies, and loved ones are blamed, we promise to do everything we can to oppose and remedy this. We take a holistic approach to assisting families addressing all facets from emotional to technical. The TLfDP readers and doctors have been a great blessing in their support of our victory. The science and articles in TLfDP over the past half-decade have been instrumental in educating us and pointing us in the right direction. We are admiringly grateful.
