Designed by polymer clay artist Marie Segal, these new pushmolds include "Celtic," "Sconce," "Swag," "Plume," "Flower" and "Etruscan." LithoCoal, a heat-fixable drawing media from D'UVA FINE ARTISTS MATERIALS allows artwork to be preserved without spray fixative or framing under glass. A form of charcoal, LithoCoal may be used to draw on any grade of paper, canvas, cloth, metal, glass, ceramic, wood, stone, or any other surface that will withstand the 225 [degrees] F fixing temperature. Once fixed, LithoCoal is not soluble in water or mineral spirits and is an acid resist, allowing for broad use in printmaking applications. FISKARS[R] CONSUMER PRODUCTS INC.'s Wavy Paper Crimper crimps a variety of papers, including foil, bond, tissue and construction paper. The tool features extended rollers which allow users to crimp paper up to 6 1/2 inches wide. The rollers are made of hardened plastic for increased durability and consistency, eliminating paper "drifts" while crimping. The Crimper also features a large, spring-action, comfort-molded handle and turnkey to provide greater strength and comfort.
