> An apple a day may keep the doctor at bay for a long time, according to a new study by Cornell researchers. The study shows that phyto-chemicals in apples are antiallergenic, anti-carcinogenic, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory. The skin is the most potent part, according to the research. The antioxidant effects of apples have been studied for some time but the new study shows some exciting new research.
