AORN past President Betty J. Shultz, RN, CNOR, was elected vice president of the executive board of the International Federation of Perioperative Nurses (IFPN), and AORN past President Sheila Allen, RN, BSN, CNOR, CRNFA, was elected secretary at IFPN''s October 2004 meeting. The IFPN is a federation of perioperative nursing associations from approximately 14 countries.
The group meets twice a year, once at the AORN Congress and once at the Congress of the National Association of Theatre Nurses.
