Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedVolunteer Coordinator cooking up a "celebration of value" for the soul in New Orleans at the 52nd AORN Congress
AORN Journal, Jan, 2005 by Jane Alcock
Sunday, April 3, to Thursday, April 7, 2005
Excitement fills the air, signifying the coming of AORN's annual Congress in April. Escape from your ordinary routine and join us in New Orleans as we celebrate belonging to a universal community of caring.
Team Louisiana and volunteers from every part of the globe will welcome you to the world's most unique city--one gifted in music and cuisine, rich in culture and history, and lavish in celebration and beauty. Volunteers who will assist you throughout the week of Congress can be identified by their blue denim shirts, which will be embroidered with emblems symbolic of the state of Louisiana (eg, magnolias, brown pelicans, alligators, saxophones, fleurs de lis).
Combine Southern hospitality, learning, and networking with some of the most creative minds in health care. We belong to a noble profession where we make an incredible difference in people's lives every day. Ya'll cruise on down in April to the Crescent City and we will "celebrate our value." Laissez les bon temps rouler in N'awlins.
