The Museum of Flight pays homage to Seattle's aviation heritage, and part of it occupies the old Boeing factory building. (Boeing, the world's leading producer of commercial jet aircraft, still manufactures planes in Seattle, though the company a few years ago moved its corporate offices to Chicago.) The museum just landed one of two British Airways Concorde jets on display in the U.S.

Seattle CityPass, a booklet of admission tickets to six major attractions, offers big savings. Priced at $42.50 for adults and valid for nine days after first use, CityPass (www.citypass. com) includes the Space Needle, Museum of Flight, Woodland Park Zoo, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Aquarium, and an Argosy Cruises harbor tour.
