Road rage: according to a nationwide study, instances of drivers 'losing it' are up 51 percent from 1990
Current Events, Jan 30, 1998
* Modern automobiles would have amazed even Henry Ford. And future models will be even more amazing, such as the all-plastic car (right) by Chrysler. The new car, which will be made from the same plastic that is used in soda bottles, will never need painting and could cut the price of a new car in half.
In the next ten years, car-makers will also introduce the "smart car," which will use advanced computer technology and will be able to drive by themselves -- no human drivers needed!
