Seasoned Senior-Level Manager Ross Curtis Joins Open Solutions' Executive Leadership Team; Growth-Driven Financial Services Provider Appoints Curtis to Lead Domestic Sales Efforts

GLASTONBURY, Conn. -- Open Solutions Inc.'s(R) (NASDAQ: OPEN) a provider of integrated enterprise-wide data processing and enabling technologies for financial services providers across the United States, Canada and international markets, today announced the addition of Roswell ("Ross") M. Curtis to its Executive Leadership team, as executive vice president, Group Sales.

In this newly created position, Curtis will be responsible for overseeing Open Solutions' combined domestic sales and account management organizations for the banking, credit union, complementary and imaging product groups. Each of these groups is headed by a general manager who will report to Curtis as part of the company's functional organization structure. Curtis will report directly to Louis Hernandez, Jr., Open Solutions' chairman and CEO.

Curtis joins Open Solutions from GXS, where he was senior vice president of Global Sales, a member of the management committee and responsible for a 200-person global sales force. Prior to GXS, he served as executive vice president of Worldwide Sales for BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), one of the world's largest business advisory and system integration firms, where he also managed a 230-person global sales force. Additionally, Curtis brings more than twelve years of business development and management experience, principally focused on the software industry working in senior roles at Mergent International, Oracle Corporation and The Service Bureau Company (a division of Control Data).
