BIRMINGHAM, England -- EFI (Nasdaq:EFII), the world leader in digital controllers, superwide format printers and inks, and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, will preview new technologies, showcase its innovative, industry-leading solutions, and provide thought leadership at key seminars at Ipex 2006 (EFI Stand D20 in Hall 9; April 4-11 at the NEC, Birmingham, England).
EFI will show solutions from its portfolio of robust, integrated products, which include powerful Fiery(R) servers, advanced VUTEk superwide digital inkjet printers, web-enabled collaboration tools, and world-class print MIS and proofing solutions -- as well as integration among these solutions. EFI solutions will also be shown in partner booths throughout Ipex and in the Process Automation and JDF Pavilion co-sponsored by CIP4.

EFI will showcase how Fiery, the world-leading digital controller with more than 14 million users, enables customers' success in migrating to an offset/digital hybrid environment. With Multigraphics, based in Bradford, England, EFI will also announce the first European installation of its Logic SQL(TM) Print Management Software with VUTEk Superwide digital inkjet printers.
EFI President Fred Rosenzweig, with VUTEk customer Data Image Limited, will join the Case Study Seminar at the INNOV8 Theatre to discuss how flatbed printing has added another dimension to the possibilities of digital printing:

And the newest result of the longstanding, successful partnership between Canon and EFI, Project Valiant, a technology demonstration of digital print workflow, will be shown at Canon Stand C50 Hall 6.
