RedPrairie and Navis to Cooperatively Provide Advanced Optimization Solutions for Yard Management and Workforce Performance

MIAMI -- Agreement Provides Customers Easy Access to Leading Optimization Solutions

RedPrairie Corporation, a global leader in technology solutions that enable business transformation, and Navis LLC, a global leader in software solutions for supply chain execution, announced today at RedPrairie's eighth annual user conference and logistics industry summit, their partnership to cooperatively cross-market each other's industry leading optimization products to their respective customers.

According to the agreement, RedPrairie will cooperatively market Navis DC Flow(TM), the industry leading scheduling and yard optimization system, to its warehouse and transportation management system customers. Equivalently, Navis will cooperatively market RedPrairie's DLx(R) Labor workforce performance management (WPM) and RFID systems to its marine terminal and distribution center customers.

Navis DC Flow enables industry best practices in yard management and supply chain integration by increasing visibility across the logistics network and optimizing DC operations beyond the four walls of the warehouse, allowing the world's leading retailers, manufacturers and 3PLs to increase capacity, lower operating costs and exceed service goals.

RedPrairie's DLx(R) Labor WPM system monitors all direct and direct labor to provide online reporting that alerts supervisors in near real-time to bottlenecks, labor performance problems and other barriers to productivity that can quickly downgrade distribution center or marine terminal performance, allowing corrective action to be taken before problems escalate.
