Transcontinental's 2003 Annual Report Garners Important International Recognition

MONTREAL -- Transcontinental's (TSX:TCL.A) 2003 annual report was ranked 5th out of a total of 1223 participants from 12 countries in the prestigious 2003 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition organized by the League of American Communications Professionals. The aim of the competition is to encourage excellence in annual report content and graphic presentation around the world. Transcontinental was also ranked first in the Media and Communications category out of a field of 33 competitors. Titled We are different, the annual report received a perfect score on all 10 criteria, earning it the "Platinum Award." Plus, the Letter to Shareholders was rated the best among the 1223 annual reports submitted to the jury.
