Telenetics Announces Strategic Alliance Agreement with Elster Electricity, LLC

LAKE FOREST, Calif. -- Telenetics Corporation (OTCBB:TLNT), a provider of wired and wireless data communications products for customers worldwide, today announced the signing of a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Elster Electricity, LLC ("Elster"), a subsidiary within E.ON's Ruhrgas Industries that is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Under the terms of this Agreement, Elster will utilize their extensive global sales and marketing organization to promote and resell Telenetics digital cellular-based communications products to their electric utility customers for AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) applications. Elster will have primary responsibility for the sale of Telenetics AMR cellular products throughout North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
