iMergent Offers UPS OnLine Tools Within StoresOnline eCommerce Software

Business Wire,  July 8, 2004

OREM, Utah -- iMergent, Inc., (OTCBB:IMGG) a leading provider of eCommerce software for small businesses and entrepreneurs, announced it will provide UPS OnLine(R) Tools within iMergent's StoresOnline(TM) eCommerce software platform.

StoresOnline merchants will be able to reduce operating costs by increasing shipping efficiencies and improving customer service. StoresOnline merchants wishing to utilize the shipping tools simply need to open a standard UPS shipping account and the service can be activated on each web site by StoresOnline.

StoresOnline will offer the UPS Rates and Service Selection and UPS Shipping at no additional charge, available as of July 9th:

--UPS Rates and Service Selection allows customers visiting StoresOnline web sites to compare, price and select the UPS shipping services that best fit their needs and budgets. This tool allows for real-time rates and shipping calculations and displays the outcome based upon package specifications.

--UPS Shipping allows StoresOnline merchants to process shipments and print labels directly from the StoresOnline platform. Merchants can also send and receive automatic notifications when a shipment is processed and delivered. In addition, the shipping tools enable regularly scheduled UPS shipping pickup for each StoresOnline merchant.

David Rosenvall, chief technology officer of iMergent, stated, "The addition of the UPS OnLine Tools to our eCommerce platform creates more advantages for our StoresOnline merchants, as they can now manage their business more effectively and provide functionality more common on custom-built eCommerce web sites costing many times more than StoresOnline. The integrated shipping capability provided by UPS allows small businesses and entrepreneurs to offer shipping rates and efficiencies similar to much larger online eCommerce entities. In addition, we are authorized by UPS to add UPS Address Validation tools to the StoresOnline product, which allows customers to correct common address errors at the point of entry, prior to the merchant shipping the product. We plan to add this feature to future versions of the StoresOnline software."

Don Danks, chairman and chief executive officer of iMergent, stated, "iMergent is excited about integrating UPS technology and pleased to offer this significant upgrade in our software to both existing and prospective customers. Our StoresOnline merchants can now decrease operating costs and improve their customer service by shipping more efficiently and manage the shipping process from order entry to label generation and pickup, to final customer delivery. We believe the integration will further differentiate our leading eCommerce platform as a feature-rich and cost-effective alternative to low-cost eCommerce tools and custom eCommerce sites alike."
