Business Wire, July 8, 2004
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Selkirk Financial Technologies, a leading developer of global financial management solutions, reports 25% year-over-year revenue growth for 2004.
Revenue comes largely in the form of new license and subscription sales, through direct sales and channel partnerships. Thirty-two names have been added to Selkirk's growing client base, setting the pace in the industry. New clients include Novell, Adelphia, Greif, Battelle, PSS World Medical, Union Energy, Arch Insurance Group, McGraw-Hill, NorskeCanada and BC Transmission Corporation. Five of those new clients including- Adventist, Relizon, CAE and Sun Life of Canada MA-were won through Selkirk's competitive switch program, which targets companies looking to replace their former treasury management solution with a more advanced solution.
This year is proof that Selkirk continues to service its customers and keep them satisfied. New functionality and a more positive business climate contributed to a 26% increase in client purchases over the prior year. "Nordstrom has had a 6 year relationship as a Selkirk customer and we have always been extremely pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism and knowledge of their client support team," said Jonathan Saunders, senior treasury analyst at Nordstrom.
Selkirk also attracted new business with the release of ConjecSure(TM), the company's risk management platform. Developed for risk managers, treasury managers, and anyone who manages their organization's financial risk, ConjecSure consolidates financial portfolios across all instrument types to help identify key sensitivities and accurately assess financial risk.
"With Selkirk's continued success, we've been setting the bar higher and higher," said Jim Suttie, Selkirk's president and chief executive officer. "One goal that's always on our list is delivering solutions that are easier to learn, easier to use and easier to implement than anything else available in the market. Consistent growth confirms that we're hitting that target - again and again."
