ADM Tronics Begins Distribution of Medical Device for Tinnitus Sufferers

ADM Tronics Unlimited Inc. (OTC:ADMT) has begun distribution of the Aurex-3(R) a new patented medical device for the treatment and control of tinnitus. Tinnitus is a hearing condition commonly referred to as ringing in the ears. According to the American Tinnitus Association there are over 50 million people in the U.S. with some degree of tinnitus of which 12 million seek medical care with 1 million incapacitated by the debilitating condition.

The Aurex-3 is a non-invasive electronic medical device for home use by tinnitus sufferers which has been cleared for marketing in the U.S. by the FDA. It is being sold to patients through several channels including internet, authorized distributors and direct from ADM Tronics. For international markets, ADM Tronics has been in negotiations with several distributors and expects to enter into distribution agreements for the United Kingdom and the Netherlands in the near future with other countries to follow thereafter. For shipments to European countries, the Aurex-3 requires conformance with CE marking requirements. ADM Tronics expects to secure CE approval in the near future.

ADM Tronics has received advance orders for Aurex-3 units and has recently begun filling these orders. It will continue to accept advance orders for subsequent delivery. The Aurex-3 units are being manufactured by a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADM Tronics. The complete Aurex-3 system includes a carrying case, control unit, hand-held applicator, ac power transformer and a user manual.
