TiVo Inc., the originator of personal TV, will illustrate the true power of interactive programming and advertising through an industry-first preview of "Broadband" TiVo at Demo '99, February 7-10, Palm Springs, Calif. Broadband TiVo is a key component of the company's personal television (PTV) service. It allows the consumer to receive a greater selection of programming and commerce opportunities through interactive previews, movie "trailers," recorded highlights, and special merchandise promotions for viewing at the consumer's discretion.

NETWORK PARTNERSHIPS PROMISE VIEWERS ULTIMATE PROGRAMMING OPTIONS
TiVo's relationships with nine leading networks are a key component in the company's quest to provide the highest quality programming options for anytime viewing. Through its network relationships, TiVo will develop "Showcases" for subscribers to the TiVo personal television service. Viewers will be able to browse through the Showcases to choose their favorite shows while being alerted to additional programming information - all on a schedule that matches the preferred viewing habits of TiVo subscribers. To date, TiVo has reached agreements with HBO, Showtime, Showtime Extreme, The Weather Channel, ZDTV, The
Movie Channel, FLIX, E! Entertainment and style. with other relationships forthcoming.
