DR. ROMIE TRIBBLE is the new vice president of academic affairs at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C. Previously Tribble was department chair of economics and an associate provost at Spelman College. Tribble earned a bachelor's from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, a master's from the University of Denver, and a doctorate from Colorado State University.
