Diesel Fuel News,  May 27, 2002

The Austrian-based company touts superior fuel economy and extended range with its new Twin Star, capable of 1,485 nautical miles at 180 knots. Two Thielert TAE-125 turbocharged diesels power the aircraft. Dieselization is catching on elsewhere, too: Federal Aviation Administration (U.S.) is researching new diesel-powered aircraft rules (see Diesel Fuel News 3/19/01, p5).
