An Air France flight from Paris to Boston was diverted to Maine on Thursday (12 May) at the request of US authorities.
Officials wanted to check a passenger aboard the flight, said a spokesperson for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
The flight, carrying 165 passengers, was reportedly diverted because a passenger on board had the same name as someone on the US government's no-fly list.
