If United Airlines goes ahead with its plan to hand over pension plans to the federal government, the airline could see flight attendants launch random walkouts tomorrow (1 July).
A spokeswoman for the flight attendants has said that they are continuing to fight for the pension plan and that a strike campaign could be a part of that. The union has threatened not to board aircraft, which could cripple the airline over the expected busy US Independence Day weekend, the Chicago Tribune reported.
