Air New Zealand disruptions continue despite successful negotiations

Airline Industry Information,  July 25, 2005

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Air New Zealand has said that the interruptions to its flights are expected to continue until the end of today (25 July) although the strike has ended.

Flight disruptions to and from Asia as well as to other destinations will reportedly continue despite the settlement of the conflict with the long-haul cabin crew. The negotiations with the union were successful, ending Friday (22 July), but the airline said that it was too late to reinstate the cancelled flights on 24-25 July.
