Montenegro Airlines said on Wednesday (26 January) that the pilot and co-pilot of a Montenegro Airlines Fokker 100 were injured when their aircraft slid off a runway in Serbia-Montenegro.
The aircraft, arriving on Tuesday (25 January) from Belgrade, Serbia, skidded off the runway and plunged into wet earth after landing in heavy snowfall at the Podgorica airport. None of the 78 passengers on board were hurt, but the aircraft was seriously damaged.
The airline blamed the accident on poor weather conditions.
