Saudi Arabian Airlines places USD400m order with Embraer

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Embraer (NYSE:ERJ), a manufacturer of commercial jets, has announced that Saudi Arabian Airlines has placed a firm order for 15 EMBRAER 170 aircraft, with first delivery scheduled for December 2005.
The final contract has a total value of about USD400m at list prices. All aircraft will be configured in a two-class layout with a total of 66 seats, six of which will be assigned to first class.
